Welcome To

Bothell

Became a city in the first decade of the 1900s as a logging community with its convenient location on the Sammamish River.

Welcome to Bothell

The intersection of town and country in one neighborhood

With a long history as a bedroom community, Bothell is one of the suburb cities of Seattle. Some people travel to Seattle for work, but there are ample engineering and computer technology opportunities in the city. The area combines upscale housing, outdoor areas, and an urban downtown area with much to offer all its residents.

Located along the Sammamish River and on the banks of Lake Washington, the area was initially inhabited by the Sammamish people. Bothell became a city in the first decade of the 1900s as a logging community with its convenient location on the Sammamish River.

After World War II, the area morphed into a peaceful suburban city providing homes for people moving out of Seattle. Today, the area features upscale, older housing with many single-family homes in a variety of styles, from rambler to modern.
